Post pulling a cable

Has anyone ever pulled the cable that goes from the throttle body to the passenger side of the transmission. I think mine is kinked. Should I pull it to the underneath or the engine compartment?

Thumbs up

Hi,
I've got the same problem as you - the pressure adjusting cable from the throttle quadrant to the auto box gets stuck and I'm permanently in 1st gear.
Under the car I had to tug the cable where it disappears above the box and then everything works again but I've had to leave the cable disconnected at the engine end.
I'm sure it's trapped somewhere so it doesn't return properly. Further investigation required and maybe a new cable which I understand is not an easy job. Most annoying !
