That is not the engine bay of a near mint car. I'd want to know what the recent service was. Otherwise its the same old story. Interior is good, but certainly not 9/10.

I agree with Seth regarding the engine bay. It also looks like the front seats were re-dyed and the car has been sitting for awhile. I wouldn't go 6k+ for her. Maybe 4.5k. Also take into consideration, this is not a private seller, but a dealer.

Here one that I found interesting.
<a href="https://rennlist.com/ads/" target="_blank">928</a>

It is also listed in the Rennlist member classifieds for $6500.
Not so long ago it was at 10k. It is a little far for me to travel and it isn't an '86.5 with the s4 brakes. Looks like a good buy though!

Well it is an '86 with rear ac, 5sp. burgandy inside and out. Listed in Rennlist classifieds for $6500 and on Autotrader for $7500. Located in Texas.

Finally found something on eBay that taxes my new broadband connection Dang, 52 pictures and only one shot of the (pretty neglected looking) engine bay?- I smell trouble. Cobwebs under the hood are never a good sign. Interior looks nice though, but just a little too much volume for me.

Here is a '84 Euro 5sp cheap.

First thing to go is the ricer-like coffee can exhaust. Might be worth a few thousand just for the engine.

Edit: Hey cool it worked this time!

Though, why couldn't I have seen this when I was actually looking to spend 3500 on a spare car?

Careful on this one....seems to a US spec 84 with side markers....
Most early euros did not have the dual front speakers in the door..and the front and rear marker lights look original..as in not installed to federalize..

Double check the engine ..it should have the twin distributors if it is a euro...
