Default Latest Pricing from Excellence

Based on the pricing above, I'm about to make a "low low ball" offer on an 83S 5-speed. What do you guys and gals think of Excellence pricing?

IMHO The S4-up pricing looks believable but the pre S4s are way too high.

I wish we would quit beating down the value of the pre S4's.

I've never paid a lot of attention to Excellence prices, I think they are a bit optimistically high.

The GTS's are too low.

I don't know where this guy gets his "information" from. Wholesale auctions?

I bought my 1995 GTS privately (for a fair but high price) and never reported it to anyone.
He certainly misses the 50% of the cars sold through (not necessarily "on") Ebay and
misses all of them sold through Rennlist, 928OC, and the Registry as well as Craigslist.
Since collector cars have a flat $100 sales tax in Minnesota, he can't glean useful information from the DPS either. If he depends on self-reporting, his figures are no more valid than an Internet "poll."

If I'm selling or need an insurance repair estimate I like them.

Should be used as intended for entertainment purposes only...has NOTHING to do with any reality being flawed in so so many ways.

Who wants to buy my '85? Good Condition. You can steal it for $14K.

Wow......nice gain on the MY88's.......$19750 for a nice one vs $15062 for an 89??? Must be a typo?

Hmm $20k for my pristine S4..........I would seriously think about that one!

I'm with you Brian. The Blue Car would go for nearly $10k...hmmm, I'd pocket the $8k profit in a minute!!!

Looks like he got tired of Rennlisters whining about low prices for 928s and upped them on his list...a lot. Should make most of us happy, but I don't think that many of the prices reflect the recent "crazy" market reality. I've certainly not noticed 928 selling prices going up in the marketplace. Also, there's a pretty big difference between selling and asking prices. Then again, maybe the prices have finally bottomed out?
