Back on the road !!!
Well I am about as happy as a pig in new mudd !
( did I really say that ? ) Oh well take a look at what I have done so far and let me know what you think.
Here are some pics of my shark out of hibernation (sp) <a href="http://home.fuse.net/my928" target="_blank">http://home.fuse.net/my928</a> go "to my car".
All input is greatly appreciated, good - bad - indifferent.

You really ought to clean up that engine bay!
Seriously, that is some absolutely GORGEOUS work! <img border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" title="" src="graemlins/bigok.gif" />
IMHO the hood scoops don't fit the total picture.

Nice Work Tim. I think we all have thought of new ways to improve on our air intake at some time. If I can see some drastic improvement in my changes I will pass them onto you for your comments.. Great work on the Intake manifolds. I will be diving into refinishing mine soon. Dave.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
It is always nice when you spend alot of time working on something and others appreciate it as well.
I hope to have my new airbox and tubes done within a week or 2.
urnot, what changes are you making to your system ?
Goride, do you have frames enabled ?
Thanks,
Tim

Very nice and clean, but a little too much *bling* for me. Perhaps its the decals on the side and back?
If that car is meteormetallic gray, you have the best 928 color! IMHO, as that is my car's color !

Tim,
I think it looks great. Do you happen to have a breakdown of prices for the machined parts? I really like the cross member and the oil cap.
Looks like you put a lot of sweat, love and blood into that.

Jason, yes it is meteor metallic. The decals were put on buy the PO, I am not very fond of them either but they will stay until a new paint job is needed.
Dave, The power steering cap matches the oil cap and so will the washer reservoir next week. I can't give you any prices "yet" I own a machine shop and engineering company. The engineering company will be marketing all of these items and many more in the near future. We also manufacture several custom parts for many differant motorcycles as well.
I am hoping to launch all of these parts and a few for 911's and 944's very soon, we are still working with the lawyers and insurance company to sort out all the details.
Should be within the next month or so and I will post our website here on the LIST.
I will only post it one time because I hate Spam as much as everybody else.
Thanks
Tim

That's cool you have the same paint color, and I see Greg does too.... it just seems to me that meteormetallic makes the car look less dated... perhaps because the seeming resurgance of grays lately on 996's?

Wow! love the mods. Especially the cross brace and rotors. Is the car "Pacific Metallic Blue"? If so it's an exact twin of mine, (save the engine, mods, interior.. did I say exact?) Well they're all cute in the dark... - Ruf
