Yes, Yes, a crazzzy time. This picture was taken after 3 Long Island Iced Tea's and some lady offering to lei me for $3.00. I was not so far out of it; you don't see any flowers around my neck.

But were did the Shark attack come from? Must have been from Margarita Ville.

It appears I won't be able to make it this time. I'm truly dissappointed. I kinda "forgot" (denial) I had something planned with my g/f. Going to Blissfest to hang with the earth-chrunchy folkies. yea, ahem.
Hey, if anyone has ANY good ideas how I can get outta this, let me know.
I wish I could be there... been looking forward to meeting more of the local 928 contingent. I was in D-town for 3 days last weekend, did much driving, and didn't see any 928'rs. Got my first speeding ticket in "chewy". The ticket was weak...he didn't even clock me as I was WAY by 'em by the time the donut left his face. He said it took some hard pushin' to catch up to me... HAHA. Btw, 696 at 4am is ALL good!

If you haven't already, please email me at davesq2001@hotmail.com to let me know that you're coming and how many people are coming with you. We are trying to get a final head count so that we buy enough food and stuff to drink.

Also, I'm collecting cell phone numbers to distribute a list a couple days before the picnic...just in case anyone gets lost or turned around during our drive or while trying to find the park.

I'm setting up the master plan. So far I convinced her to take her audi, so I'm not tied to drive. She is bringing a friend along so I know this isn't one of those "weekend getaways"...
Now I have to choose how to bail out:
1)fake my own death (just for the weekend)
2)tell her my horrible tyrant boss is making me work all weekend (wouldnt be the first... he's not horrible)
3)have my brother fill in for me (we're twins)
4)be honest and say "you're cool, but 928's are cooler"
I feel really bad, I have no morals. I'll get over it. lol

Just ask her if this is one of those events exempt from "Concealed Carry" so you'll know to take pepper spray & a stun gun instead of the Glock.

It looks like I might be in the same position as Jim. I told the wife three weeks ago that I was going to the Shark frenzy. She has now decided that it would be a good weekend to go to Chi-town and visit my in-laws. I really, really need to find a way out of this.

Aside from the fact that I've had hand in organizing this thing, I've explained to family members who want me to miss it for a trip to Cleveland that this is a first-ever, once-a-year, opportunity. I know I'm not the only one who's looking forward to our Michigan Frenzy after having to miss SITM.

Not to be too pushy, but we really need you to respond ASAP either here or in an email to me with an indication as to (a) whether you're coming and if so, (b) how many people are coming with you.

Were are in trying to figure out how much food/beverage to buy for the picnic.
