Question Humbled , yet again...Fuel air problem.

Long story.
Short version...
Finally settled on a 2 1/2 inch pipe with with a performance Cat. and the 15 inch, flat, shorty, Flowmaster. Had to move the O2 sensor a wee bit.(The Pipes Laddy Thread)
FYI this is way to loud !
The current - associated - problem is: I am running way to rich. Will tweaking back the idle, advancing the timing, and running a hotter set of plugs help?
I have run slightly rich in favor of averaging rich to prevent any possibility of going super lean at WOT... with an eye toward preventing detonation and other tragedies.
The rich get richer is an apparent truism when the exhaust system is opened up. I am now concerned that the excess fuel will soon have an adverse effect on the CAT./O2 sensor which I suppose will result in deceptive electronic communications between the sensor and the Brain...rough idle, stalling, ad nauseum... .
Open to suggestions.
Nicole. you were not not completely right,OR, wrong on this issue.
Will, eventually, get duals on this puppy but as all early model owners know, there ain't much room on the right side and things like the fuel line are definitely going to need to be relocated.
TIA
Keep em' rolling ( even if you have to push)
