Thumbs up BWAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Unable to control his desires to tame a 928 out in the wild, he made an appointment to see the car in person. When the garage door opened revealing a pristine Gran Prix White GT it was practically sold already. The time was now to slowly tighten the noose while the car was still dormant- circle it, pull the dipstick, check the master and fluids, then kick it in the *** and fire it up. WOOOOMMmmm ahhh that sound again.

The old gals legs were slightly tired as the clutch pedal squeeked with every press. But it was all there and maybe more. As the car warmed up so did familiarity and a willingness to dance. Merging on the freeway the cop magnet was working all too well as a CHP tried sneaking up on the fast lane. Let him go by... then with the PO squirming in the passenger seat let the throttle rip and haul him in! Heh heh! Stealth mode on of course though the officer could've been watching the rearview but unable to do anything.

That was all the shark hunter had time to do for the kill and those brief memories were hugely satisfying until arrangements could be made to bring it home. The car has remained captive since but will be coming out shortly once it's had it's shark distemper shots.

Rice and not so rice, be afraid, be very afraid - a new set of teeth appear to be forming on this 928. the Fridge!

Welcome back, Phil!

Congratulations on your excellent taste in automobiles - especially since it appears to be identical to mine!

Unhappy

Steve/Phil,
Can't tell from the flick and have never seen a real live shark fuel/air compressor. If it belongs to a sHARk is it a 5 or 6 liter piston? Are the skirts "gone" or was 'it' lightened? Looks like a peened rod, what happened? Is this why the Phil mobile has been down? Phil ran across your site over a year ago, which rekindled a lust for the 928 ... did not take your advice to stay away from the 'Bay' when looking for a sHARk and it cost me a bundle in expences as many attempted to trot me down the primrose path of butchered cars. Spent so much I didn't get a 86.5 or later but am satified (temporarily) with my very clean 82' Weissach auto. Is your board updated with the horrors of the R&R?
Later,
Keep em' rolling

P.S. The Fridge paint looks great but who painted the jeans on yonder cutie?

John,

It’s a 460 Ford, piston and rod from my boat, water ingestion, bad exhaust manifold (so that's what they mean when thy say water does not compressed). It took out the block also. $$$$ parts only, I did all the labor.
