distributor vacuum advance line broke...cannot find connection point at the engine...help please (1979 928 single vacuum advance)...thanx to all who respond

If I recall correctly, remove the air filter and body of the spider and you should see where three vac lines connect.

I can take a look at mine and maybe snap a photo if you need. You should be able to see where it connects if you look from the passenger side.
