Anybody have issues with these people? I bought some speakers from them and one was bad. Don't they test this stuff?? This was after they mailed them late to the wrong address. I have asked for another speaker or for my money back. Guess I will see if they stand by their parts (junk).

In my transaction with them I found PartWerks to be prompt and true to their word. The service I received was excellent and the product worked fine.
Have you heard back from them on your inquiry? I suspect that they will work with you if the item (new or used??) is defective. I think it is premature to post something trashing a vendor until you have done everything you can do to resolve the issue privately. <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[nono]" /> Just my opinion.
I have no affiliation with the company other than being a happy customer.

PartWerks of Chicago (or nearby) had rare 1980 - 1983 928 Euro "S" cams for sale on EBAY and I needed one. They didn't want to break up the set, which isn't unreasonable. They pulled them from EBAY and shipped them as promised. No problems with these guys. I've also heard that they do rebuilds on brains ... a rare commodity.

They rebuilt my LH brain recently. Friendly, fast service and easy to contact by phone. They even followed up to make sure I was happy. I would do business with them again and also recommend them to others.

I have done business with Partwerks - in fact they sold me rebuilt LH brains as well (1 in use, 1 spare). Compared to the other usual suspects, their price for these items was very reasonable.
I have also purchased a few other items from them off of eBay with no negative experiences to report.
Maybe if you give them a call and try to work something out???

I live nearby so I actually dropped my LH controller at their place of business and talked to Jay.
I did not receive my original controller back as I was told but the one I got worked fine. To their credit, after I called it to their attention, they called to say they had received my original one.
I would do business with them again - their ebay feedback also looks quite good. He has a warehouse full of parts so this attention may just get him more business.

Yeap, they rebuilt my brain for $495 with 1 year warranty. Not bad at all.
The only thing is that they sent me a wrong brain which did not fit my car. After going back and forth we received the correct brain 6-8 weeks.
Also, they promised to rebuilt my old brain, instead I got another brain and one of the bracket was damaged.
Life is not perfect but I would rebuilt another brain with them if I have to.

The bottom line is I held up my end of the deal, sent my money and they sent deffective stuff. I am patient and willing to wait and see... The units should have been tested, that is the bottom line. Had I known they would send deffective stuff, I would have just bought new units. I mean this is $35.00 worth of stuff and I have more time in it than it is worth. I bought these because they would be a direct replacement for what I had....hate cutting holes in stuff.
