Post Thanks Dr. Bob

Thanks to Dr. Bob my AC is now working as it should. I got a Radio Shack relay No. 275-218C and installed it with the kind assistance of Dr. Bob himself by phone.
In case anyone else is electronically illiterate like me, the connections are as follows using Dr. Bob's numbering on the AC board:
1 on board to 4 on relay
4 on board to 3 on relay
5 on board to A on relay
6 on board to 6 on relay
7 on board to 5 on relay
8 on board to B on relay

I started an updated version of the instruction, including a summary of all the diagnostics posted through the years, and the pinouts that apply to the relay that Radio Shack carries.

Watch for this in the next couple weeks as time allows.

ErnestSW, if you have digicam handy, please take loads of pictures showing the process. I'd love to have real pictures if possible. Appropriate credit will be given of course.

Glad the car is cooling you once again. BNot that it gets warm in Arlington, Tx mind you..

As an honorary member of DFW 928 we love all the help you give the Texas boys Doc Bob!

I hope you're still <img border="0" alt="[bigbye]" title="" src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" /> wearing the shirt. Hope to see you @ Devek this year.
