Needed: 5-speed core or 5-speed rebuilt
Looking for a 78/79 5-speed transmission that I can rebuild or a place where I can but an already-rebuilt 5-speed for my 928.
Any links or vendors or junkyards that you would recommend would be appreciated.

928 International may be able to provide you with a re-built unit.
Also, you might try 20th Street Auto in Phoenix, AZ. They have 928 parts in stcock as well.
