dose any one know if you can do a auto to manual swap with the Australian 928's??

Get in touch with the folks at 928 International. They've done several AT to 5-speed conversions. Their number is: 714.632.9288.

The big advantage of doing this with a RHD car is the clutch master is MUCH easier to install - not hiding deep under the fender/guard. Do a search of the forum here for the topic - at one of the users has done it already I believe.

I don't know if 928 International would have much of a supply of some of the right hand drive parts that you'd need for an Australian car, but it might be worth a try. I'd think that an Australian, Japaneese, or British parts supplier would be more likely to be able to help you out.
