Unless you main the oil return hose from the filler to the pan, I have no idea what oil line you would be removing. If that is the line, you probably didn't puke out much oil and you certainly didn't cause oil starvation.

Pull all the plug and coil wires, then reconnect them using the sticker that should be on your radiator for reference. There should be 4 cylinders and 1 coil connected to each distributor. The noise could be gas firing in your exhaust.

Are you guys going to ignore the 800 pound gorilla; he dropped a screw into his engine. That could make a little noise, vibration and harshness.

I thought you covered the screw hunt well.

I was under the impression that he dropped it in the valley, not in the intake.

I'm switching them around. Wife, in our garage, after martini's for that one.
I'm trying not to start trouble.

Is that the amount you put back in?

Assuming your driving a LH drive car those lines are the engine oil lines to the rad.

If you change the oil and filter you need about 8-9litres of oil. Hopefully there's no serious engine damage.
3 quarts is just slightly less than 3 litres. Still a hell of a lot of oil. No way to judge from the oil spot in the ground. That's why they make a dipstick.

Default rentension problems

i placed the screw on top of the intake manifold. The screw then slipped into a hole on the top of the intake manifold and fell in. I bought a spring claw i am going to modify it with the magnet from the magnet pen i bought, then shove it in the intake manifold and hope I find the screw.

Are you kidding? I sure hope you are luckier than me or most anyone on earth. Get help! I've got some people coming over to help with my car in a week. It's not a sign of weakness. But then again I think you are just kidding us.
Have fun!

I think ol' '88 is having some fun with us in exchange for the hard time he received on the board last week when his rudeness resulted in a bad reception.

Put some honey on the end of that magnet pen, and you can coax out any bears hiding in there while you're at it.
