Any recommendation on the best brake pads for the early S brakes?
While these were a huge step over my 1981 brakes, they still feel down on stopping power. The rotors are fairly healthy, so I thought a pad upgrade might help a bit.
Right now it has Padid or some other factory pad. I have Mintex on the back...I had them up front on the older 81 brakes before upgrading the fronts.
I know, I should get Big Reds or S4 brakes...but I already dropped too much money into this pit over the summer.

I just changed the pads in the front a month back because they were making so much noise. I replaced them with 'Wagner ThermoQuiet'.
lovely brake pads ~ no noise no dust.
