Now that you have the original key, take the advice of others and take some high resolution pics of it. My local Porsche dealer doesn't even have the equipment to cut keys on site and they said they can order one from Porsche, but they usually don't come out well. They actually recommended using keys4classics.com

Just got 2 new keys made from photo by the Aussies, and they work perfectly. Great idea to at least take the pics now in case you need new keys some day (tho' a basic key isn't very much $) ...
