Post Vacuum Lock Fix

Okay, anyone have an early car with vacuum lock problems. Well I fixed mine.

Actually the system was working fine except that in the passenger side door actuator there is a rod that slides from side to side unlocking the door. That rod had about a half inch too much play. I took out the play and what do you know the vacuum lock actually works when using the key in the drivers side lock.

The manual says the the system should hold vacuum overnight but mine didnt. I did hold vacuum for about 8 hours though. Not bad for a crappy system. Im really surprised the Germans even opted to put something like that in the 928.

Im still waiting for a good write up on the manual headlight aim adjustment for the euro cars. I want to know where everything is located. I have the **** and tubing inside the car, and the tubing connects to each headlamp, but where is the fill for the fluid. My system is dry. Are there any motors anywhere??

Thanks for all your help.

Tonight will be manual transmission and rear end fluid change.
