OMG - this has to be the worst damage I've ever seen on a 928! If you can even still call it a 928.

Any info on what happened? Did the driver/passengers survive?

no info as to what happened... but probably not surviveable.

Wahrscheinlich auf "der bahn" jehnseitz von 250 kmh abgeflogen...

I just don't see how any components of this car would sill be salvageable. I wouldn't even want to use the brake calipers. Looks like the torque tube snapped like a toothpick off the engine.

I just can't ever smile at those pics, someone had to have died in that car. My idea of a project car is one that's sat peacefully in a field for a few years.

Salvageable parts

Fuel pressure regulator
Heater valve - someone already took it.

Looks as if it the roof was cut open to remove the driver. This may make the damage to the passenger compartment look even more severe than it was. I have photos of a hire car that decided it would roll at about 20mph with me andgirlfriend in it. GF had 2 stitches for glass in palm of hand, I had a large scotch after helping surgeon find the glass. Car looked almost as bad as this one. Fire and Resue service decided as we weren't in any danger to use us as a "live" training scenario and cut the car to bits around as we listened (upside down) to the radio including the live traffic reports describing the jam we had caused.

your right, but we don't know what appened and at this point all it is is a pile of garbeld junk.
The only thing I found to be funny is that they are asking more then $1600 for the car and I can't imagine that there is anything of value in it... so the aspect of it being a project car was obviously of a more sarcastic nature...

WOW.....looks like they hit two trees maybe....they had to be going VERY fast to do that.....look at the snapped TT.....to crush the frame and snap the TT like that....damm.....I bet it was the same amount of force that broke that Enzo in 1/2 on PCH last year!
