Default Is this the pulse sender?

Learning as I go along. Is this the pulse sender and is it the sender for the tacho?

Yes, that is the impluse sender, but I do not know if it is used for the tach. This is used to tell the EZK brain that the engine is turning so send a spark.

Tach signal comes from EZF/K based on the impulse sender. If the engine runs, the impulse sender is not the cause of any tach problem you might have.

Thanks. I have no tach problems - found the pulse sender is missing the bolt and wondered what it was.

The bolt may be missing because someone tried to remove the sensor, an couldn't. They can become quite stuck...

I would replace the bolt as this is one of the most vital sensors needed to keep your engine running !
