Default Ok?? (another wheel thread - RV)

So I've been searching all over the forum for bolt pattern for a 1980 928. I want to upgrade my wheels but cant figure out what i want along with what size would fit best. Also I like the look of having really wide tires in the back not ridiculously wide but sticking out a little is there any benefit to this? Ive seen it done before thats why I'm asking

"sticking out a little" is the same as "fenders hit the tires and cut them on turns" in the rear. Find a set of wheels and spacers that give you a full wheelwell but leave some clearance for wheel travel inside the lip. There's a technique with a hair drier and a baseball bat handle that can sometimes be used to roll the lip of the wheelwell arch just a little, to give you a tiny fraction of an inch more if that becomes necessary. With tires that fill the available wheelwell width at the top, you'll end up with a lot of road debris sprayed on the rear section. Fair warning!
