Three Wheelin'
Is there a word limit on the spell checker? I had a long post which got partially erased in preview when I opened the spell checker. I see no way to scroll down in spell check. Any ideas?

It seems that page loading is slowed considerably if emoticons are located within postings.
Loading appears to still be not as fast as before the meltdown.

John - Sorry, but I can't see any improvement. This page took at least 15 sec to load, whereas prior to your meltdown it was closer to realtime.
Other sites are moving at the speed of light, so I can't say it's my AT&T cable connection, measures out at about 300k or better.
Don't hate me!

Performance is quite good right now, but it seem still a bit slow this morning. It is much better than when things were crawling. (T1 connection)
I work for a software developer and am responsible for hosting multiple web sites for health plans. We recently started using the Cisco CSS 11050 switch for load balancing and failover. http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/si/11000/index.shtml
I don't know if this would be any benefit to your site, but these switches are now available on eBay for about $3k to $3.5k. Many of the failed dot coms were using these boxes and they are now available for a lot less than the original $16k when new.
Send me a PM if you are interested in knowing more about these switches.

Hi Gordon..!!
Nope - I don't hate you at all..!! I'm looking for real-time feedback... That being said, I've been moving several GB of data within my internal net throughout the day - so can you please post an update in about 30 minutes or an hour with how the site is responding? I should be done at that time...
Also - just as an FYI - I'm also installing more lines to the Internet in the near-term... I'll keep you updated on the schedule, OK?? In the meantime - thanks for your patience and support!!!

What a work **** you are!
Hats off to ya'.
Now the bad news.
T1 here . I noticed a slow down before the mini-crash and or maintenance.
Now it's worse...The Renn itself is still a quick load, but, when I TRY to get back to the Forum using either the Back button or clicking on 928 Forum the wait was so bad I was dropping off line and on auto re-dial. I'll live.
If you need any of those Cisco 11050's that Gary mentioned I'll donate a whole $20.00 that way you can order a pizza to eat while sawing thru your wrists with a cheap plastic spoon.
Where is the mailing address located I'm almost a year behind...
You need to squeeze the tightwads, I'm one of em'
