Sorry,
Just want to verify a couple of things.
1) For those that have changed their rod bearings, what prompted you to do this swap?
I get a kind of small knocky sound when gently cruising through parking lots, etc.... I have not heard this on other 928's so my theory is that I may have worn bearings. When I'm into the pedal, I don't notice it much. Basically, I am going on instinct with this one. At the least, it will eliminate that possibility if the noise still exists after the swap.
2) By 85.00 dolars a set, do you mean enough bearings to complete the entire job? Ditto for the nuts.....
3) I have never used plastigage before. Is their a link where I could get some pics and text on the use of this tool?
4) And finally, whats the time for getting down to having the pan off the car. I would love to see this done over a weekend. Gettin' kinda tired of REDALERT sitting docile for weeks at a time...

Thanx
