Default Speakers - Can Someone Explain Henry's and Farad?

I have these, and here's an excellent manual. What do I need to run one of these in parallel with a 4-ohm midrange? Response on the midbass is 30 - 500Hz http://www.kicker.com/06/tech-suppor...icalManual.pdf

I installed it all, just need to know what sort of cap/coil I need.

I Farad is a measure of capacitance, a Henry is a measure of inductance.

The nearest table value to your application, assuming the new woofer is 4 ohms and the existing one in parallel with it is also 4 ohms is from page 11 "6db/octave bandpass" 2 ohm

80-400Hz 0.8mH 1000uF.

When you buy the 1000uF capacitor, make sure it is designed for use in a speaker system. Do NOT use an electrolytic capacitor, they are polarised and can overheat.

You must use a non-polarised capacitor.
