How about Randy V. & John D?. Haven't heard of their private jets, car collections, etc. lately....
Say, you guys holding out on us?

The whole post was chest thumping but the quote above was so outrageous it was funny.
In addition to Randy & John lets not forget Walley P, Jim B and scores of people on this site who help people every day! to the good guys!

Holy Cow...the post by BCdavis is very interesting...
(BTW--I am another Eric who has neither a jet nor a "collection" of cars unless a pick-up and a rusty Jeep count)

Wow Davis, those old threads were a trip down memory lane. I was ready to put my right foot up a lot of A$$ back then.
LOL What a difference a year makes. Now we have numerous supercharged 928's. A few putting down 500+hp even. Who'd have thunk we'd have two different kits to choose from?

Eric,
Since I am unable to get confirmation from the state investigator as to the case status, and as such I will gladly apoligize for my statements accuracy at this time as it cannot be confirmed. I agree, that was very rude of me to state that you are a "menace to society", and thereby retract that statement.
I did go to the county records at:
http://courts.countyofventura.org/ci...earch_name.asp
to see if there was any record on file, but unfortunately, I do not remember the name that you operated under back then as I only typed in your current name of Eric Munck.
I also went to this site:
http://members.aol.com/Musttanguy/horses7.html
to see if there was any additional info.
I will post whatever I do find to this thread as often as possible.
Regards,
Marc

"I am the PLAINTIFF in the the last 18 out of 20 suits I have been involved in. I guess that makes me a menace to society"
Munk,
No, being involved in 20 lawsuits means you are a great addition to society

I certainly wouldn't want to do business with anyone who was listed 20+ times in their local court register, whether as plaintiff or defendant! I wonder which other court systems might have listings on this individual?
For what it's worth, Eric Munck is listed as "defendant" in eight of the last 22 records under that name (nine if you include "Ivar Eriksson Munck").
This *is* public information, and I think it is important to all of us to note that that this guy is still virulent... whoever he is. To be fair, is there anyone among us who has anything to say in defense of this guy?

thanks for the post...now we're all up to speed on the issue.
How come no one has welcomed Eric (his first post) or asked him to become a member. He seems like a lot of fun

He's been very friendly and helpful to a lot of people in the 928 community. People say he is a nice guy. I sincerely think this is more a case where he overestimates his skills and abilities, and offers more than he can deliver. So when his big business plan falls apart, he gets defensive, attacks the people he is doing business with, gets a bad reputation, and has to move his business to a new market...
My guess is that with these cars, he was taking a long time, trying to do a really slick, really good job. Spending a lot of time and money on R&D. But he messes something up, and breaks a piston. So then he has to rebuild the engine, and a huge cost, and even more time. And tries to do it perfectly, so as not to have more problems. But by that time, the owner is screaming about the time and money involved, and wants the car back NOW. So he rushes it out the door, and even though the install looks good, when inspected closer, people see that there are many problems, etc...
I think this is just a case of someone with BIG dreams, who bites off more than he can chew.
Anyone remember the Vector W2 situation?
I think this is something like that.
They made a super-high tech car, that was really cool.
The took huge deposits, and then the owner took the money,
and worked to develop even better designs. But eventually the
people wanted their cars, or their money back. But by then,
the money was spent on R&D, and only 2-3 cars were completed,
and the company went bankrupt, and the owner barricaded
himself in his shop, with an assault rifle when the police
came to reposess everything...
It's not a matter of being a nice guy or not.
It's a matter of poor business planning...
He needs to look at the MURPH example to see how it *should have* been done.
Develop a kit that people can install in a weekend.
Not a kit that takes over a year to install, and still does not work right...

this guys business sounds like fraud, even if he smiles and appears helpfull.
given the benefit of doubt im sure his motives are understandable in same way as are his reactive communications, he wants to be popular - too bad hes such a clown, he also seems a bit simple, maybe brain injured???

I recently saw this on ebay (parting out 3 928's)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2476346228
When I dropped an email to inquire about parts. The return email address was customerservice@superhummer.com............ that rang a bell so I came back and looked up this post and yep! same guy. He has a bunch of parts if anyone is in need.
