OEM Parts availability and a MY1989
What's the general availability of parts for the 928 , MY1989? Does PCNA continue to support the cars parts in a respectable way. I'm considering a decent example with very low mileage (40K) from an original owner. Always liked the 928 and wanted to own one. Now's the chance, possibly.
Any speciffic areas I will want of focus on with a inspection? E.G., electrical, cam belts, interior panels, et cetera.
I once drove a buddies MY1987 928 across country and that car was a killer GT touring machine.
TIA
Mike

If you have a pre purchase inspection by someone who knows the 928, it could save you a lot of money and headaches. If the car is in great/good shape and you keep it that way, the expenses will be a lot less than having to get one into shape.
I have owned a few Porsches and to me the 928 is my dream car, it just makes me feel good when I get into it and start that motor.
There are as of this moment lots of parts and the prices are OK, we have what we call the big 3, which are 928 suppliers of used and new parts, so you shold have no problems.

Mike,
the "New Owner's Document" I put together has links to some PPI checklists that folks have put together. You can find it on Tony's site at:
