Default Air conditioning oil and freon amounts

I am rebuilding the A/C system on my '84 Euro. I have changed out everything (rebuilt lines, compressor, drier, expansion block, etc). I am running R134A. My question is how much oil and freon do I put in the system? I remember reading somewhere that with just a compressor change, the oil is 8oz. I also remember somewhere in the 928 manuals about a complete change requires 12oz. I plan to use PAG oil. 12 oz seems like too much oil. I think American cars only need 6 oz. Can someone give me the correct amounts?

I also need the freon amounts required. The car is a '84 Euro without rear air. I got some numbers from the manual, but they are R12 values. I am not sure of the R134A conversion and I would like someone to double check the numbers out of the manuals in case I made a mistake.

Thanks

3oz of oil for each component. I do not know what / if there is conversion needed for swap to 134
