Any references for these people? I've got an estimate of $545 for shipping a non-running parts car approx 600 miles, open transport. That is less than I can go get it for myself, and since it's a parts car I'm less worried about damage.
Sound reasonable?

It sounds reasonable to me given the distance and the non running aspect of the car. If it helps any, I recently had covered transport coast-to-coast for a fully working car and it was $1500.

Might be a tad expensive. I think it cost me $900 to ship my car open-transport from PA to CA in 1999. They came and picked it up at my door with the truck and dropped it off at my new door with a truck. I can't imagine cutting the mileage by 80% would only cut the price by 40%. But then again, I haven't looked in forever and my car did run.
