One more for the Tulsa clan. Mine has been driving this part of the state since being sold here new in 1982. There is a lady physician that works at St. John's Hospital who drives her burgundy S4 every day to work. She is a 928 fan as she always smiles and waves. I must have seen 20 or so 928's at Tom's over the years that I have yet to see on the road so they do exist here in Oklahoma, just don't get around much anymore!

 

Funny how there's docs -- and female docs... just like there's nurses -- and male nurses!

My 7 count included yours, Colby's, my two and three others I've seen at Tom's. There was another red 79 owned by an Owasso HS kid but he sold it so I don't know if it's still in the Tulsa area.

Will be in OK for the next 3 months...then to Cincinnati for a year...then who knows!

Maybe we should just make the DFW guys adopt us. Hell Oklahoma might as well be Texas... that state is so huge that adding a couple hundred miles to the northern border wouldn't make much difference

 

Been trying to get down there for the GTG's but it hasn't worked yet. I'd like to find some other local(translate closer than 3hrs) 928's to hang out with.

Why don't you set up a GTG in your area and invite the DFW gang? It sounds like your neck of the woods is beautiful. I would be up for a drive to OK. I cruise up to the border (to the casino) on a whim so a planned deal wouldn't be that big of a deal.

 

I 2nd that, but not with John driving his own car. I don't want to stop every 20 minutes.

 

I think that would be great but actually my part of OK is about as unscenic as it gets. It's one step above dessert. I don't even like driving here. All the roads are straight and boring. If your gonna make a trip of it this isn't the place to come to. Heck I can't even find a nice place to take pics of my car

I was thinking about getting together in OKC somewhere. Really hasn't been much interest in this idea so it will probably never fly
