Post ABS Testing

I've noticed infomation on ABS as a Topic is not
available in great slabs.
I found the following generic data on a Rover 800 site and thought it may be usefull.
It mainly relates to Sensor testing but I have found that the first place to look is Relay XVII (MY87). If you remove the relay and jump pins 30+87 the ABS warning light should go out...if it still stays on it's likely that the problem is not the relay but elsewhere...most likely the wheel sensors.

ABS Testing link is:
<a href="http://www.davep1.freeserve.co.uk/rover/tech/absoview.htm#The%20ABS%20System%20and%20the%20ABS%20Warning%20Light" target="_blank">http://www.davep1.freeserve.co.uk/rover/tech/absoview.htm#The%20ABS%20System%20and%20the%20ABS%20Warning%20Light</a>

(There is a section on fault codes which I would disregard for our cars)

Hope its of some use.
