Post 1985 928S Parts Car

The timing belt broke and most of the valves got bent. It doesn't look like it's economical to fix it. Car is a 5-spd., MeteorMetalic in good shape and was running great until it died.

Does anybody know what it is worth as a parts car?

What's the best way to sell it? Ebay?

Is the shark worth fixing? Give me a shout. I have a set of heads that I can let go cheaply, they are out of an '85. Yes the shark ran prior to me parting it out.

I just finished parting out an '85.

Might be worthwhile to fix....

My 84 Euro originahad a five speed but was converted to an automatic - PO decided it was best for him.

I would be interested in the 5 spd - I already have the torque tube but would need the pedal assembly as well as the 5sp transaxle. Please shoot me a private message if you have what I'm looking for.

Sam:

Sorry to hear about your car. Can you let us know how old the timing belt was, how much mileage it had and how long it had been since it was re-tensioned? Not trying to be critical here, I'm just curious since my belt is "due" to be changed in early 2004.

I am interested to know if the interior is grey-green? I have an '86 meteormetallic w/grey-green interior, and could use some of the interior parts. I also need the air filter housing on the engine, as mine is cracked. Please email or call me after Monday ( 1-800-595-0235 ). Thanks. <img src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" border="0" alt="[bigbye]" />
