Any chance of being able to bring that thing into the states and actually being able to title it, in say, a state like Washington?
Not that I'm going to do that...

It can be done..but it'll cost you....gotta love those imports..no airbags..likely no sunroof...and cloth seats..no rear air..dang..all the cool ones weren't made for the US market..
Just as a side note..I have heard of Euro imports...making their way down to Idaho or Montana..and not having to go through the federalization process...getting an Idaho or Montana title....and then they can pretty much go anywhere after that point....unless there is a state mandated visual inspection for all cars brought into the state (Like California)..

Hmmmm, very interesting Tom.
Although I've never seen it directly, I've heard rumors of guys doing that with dirtbikes (getting them plated in those states, then bringing them into other states with those license plates - which are handy when you're a trail rider to connect trail to trail with a short section of road).
I do have a buddy in Boise...

I went and took a look at it tonight,
paint is 7-8/10 definetly needs a respray,
interior panels have the vinyl pulling off,
time on the belt is unknown,
all the fuses are the wrong amperage.
There has been some serious messing around with the wiring system in the car.
Japanese front fender flares (yes the fugly ones).
Those are just a few of the things, the owner has his heart set on $15k.
