Can't open glove box
This is on my uncle's '81 Euro S. The key turns, but the box won't open. Any idea how to open this to repair/replace the mechanism without destroying it?

A non mechanical cause may be the foot cover for the computer has slipped away from the wall, and is blocking the movement of the cover downard. In some situations it may be tighly wedged.
