I will be moving to the Winchester Va area in June to start a new job. I love the hills and twisties and the area is very active as opposed to the Toledo area of Ohio. I have heard there is a good following of 928's/944's out there and I would like to find out who's out there. I will be there perminately by June 15th and I am looking foward to some P car adventures.
Is there a "run" this summer?

Welcome to the area. Your just minutes away from Summit Point Raceway, off Rt 11 in WVa. Good place to hang out on weekends.
I'm 2 hrs north in Pa. Need anything, drop me a line.

I was looking at a house 4 miles from that track!
Unfortunately the wife hates it.

Welcome to Northern Virginia. It is, indeed, a beautiful area - with 928's o-plenty (Just between Eifert & Dr. Falkenberg we've got more than most places!). There's quite a good 944 group here, as well. I'm sure there will be a few posts as we get closer to SITM about the "parade" down the BR Pkwy from mid-VA to Banner Elk. Hope you can join in the fun!

As it turns out, I will be in Winchester on the 16th. Is there anyone going down the BRP Saturday that would like to hook up? If so I will try to take the S4 on this trip and make a weekend out of it. I have been following the SITM updates , but with the "move" I have been a little pre-occupied if you know what I mean.
Please reply here and let's roll.

Tim,
If you can, go to Winchester in two weeks (first weekend in May) for the Apple Blossom Festival. I used to live there when I was in high school and the entire weekend is a party. We even got out of school for it. There's a big parade and a bunch of cheesy carnival type games, but it's fun, and a good way to get used to the comunity.
Good luck, and enjoy the mountains!
