One of the local 928 owners was kind enough to let her drive his gorgeous 5-speed yesterday afternoon. She really liked it,and is seriously considering it.
One of her questions is whether a baby seat will go into the back seat. I know it's not practical, but does anyone know if it's possible? We do not plan this to be a baby hauler... just wondering, just in case.
We'd also get a PPI done before making a final decision. But, I think we might be going forward...
Thanks,

I guess I forgot to mention this car would be for my wife...

The Britax baby seats will fit in the back seat without any difficulty or modifications to car or seat. We picked one up from Sears last year for about $230, I'm sure cheaper sources exist but this was convenient and it matched the interior of my car.

I wish I could figure out how you guys get 20+ mpg out of your cars. I never got better than 18 - 19 on my S4s or GTS and typically don't even do as well as that. You don't think it has to do with the way I drive, do you?

A lot of it is the excellent fuel we have in California. State and even local requirements have addittives and fuel blends that hive off less pollution per gallon. There's no mention in the results that we have to burn more gallons to go the same distance. Mileage in my car drops 10% when I get home to California.
A few years ago we took a Sunday mountain drive to visit friends. Filled up right at the bottom of the hills at a Shell station where I don't usually. 22 MPG in the mountains on that tank. Went back that evening for another fill, same results. Next week from the same station, back to 17-18. Must have been a load of bad gas. Kinda points to the idea that there's mileage available, but there are other interests conspiring to reduce your mileage.
