I wouldn't be buying from this guy. There be someone around who did all the work on those that I'd honor with my money instead. Check your PM's.

Oh ya, I know the manuals. You can check out this discussion from about a week ago. Maybe it will help.

Speaking of manuals, there was a 9 Volume set on Ebay (maybe still there) for the Buy it now Price of $200.00. I about fell out of my chair when someone bid $100.00 wiping out the opportunity for someone to get them for $200.00. I hope it wasn't someone on the list, because that was the most stupid and moronic thing I've seen in a while. Last time I checked they were still at a reasonable $330.00.

You're gonna have a helluva time getting the body off.

Send your money to Jim Morehouse in PA. He's one of us and makes a great CD. You're still going to want the hard copy and ebay is the most likely source. Caveat emptor.

I have a 9 volume set with grey binders for sale. Great shape. Send me an email if interested. $350 + shipping from Dallas.

No way I'd do a deal with a 2-deal seller, for this kind of money UNLESS the payment was through a PayPal account linked to a VISA.

I got smoked on a set of "Manuals" and the seller laughed in my face and said "Do something about it!!" A complaint to PayPal resulted in them informing me that they had "found in my favor" and they confiscated the seller's funds for me....... all $1.53 that was in his PayPal account. They then said "sorry, that's all we can do."

I forwarded the documentation that I had submitted to PayPal, together with PayPal's finding, to VISA and they had my funds returned to my VISA account within the week. Now THAT's service!!

Paypal to vettex73@aol.com. Nah, just coincidence. The only two feedbacks on the seller are from him buying a Fiero microfiche cd and Jeep Liberty service manual cd. Hmmm. Donald, thats pretty astute investigative work.

If you look at the seller's other items, they are all repair manuals on CD. His PayPal account is the same as his old eBay account name (duh). That account has been suspended, so he's come back in with a new account name.

He's obviously been buying other people's CD's - the picture in that auction is Jim's CD - then copying and reselling. Not very nice, but how do you punish bootleger of a bootleg?

His strategy is not quite clever enough.

RANDY - this is a violation of the spam pokicy, is it not?

Odd, when I tried to get "vettex73@aol.com"'s feedback, the name comes up "simeon!", who also is unregistered.

"Sting73ray" bought some items from "simeon!" and was very happy with the transaction!

"tynkysdad" and "hojbjerg-half" seem a little confused, in their feedback to "simeon!", they say it was great purchasing from "sting73ray"!

How many accounts do these people make to give themselves so many good feedbacks?

Addendum:
Searching "reloaded80@yahoo.com" (Sting73ray's rennlist email address) on ebay user search, came up with ebay name "reloaded2000" (not a registered user)! Looks like CD's again.

(I'm sorry to go on, but it seems funny to me...)

"reloaded2000" listed a email of "treetopflyer80@yahoo.com" on a listing.

This email begets ebay name "treetopflyer73" with more CD's...

Man, this goes on and on, one name "2pickles01" buys 500 cd labels for $40, then it looks like he/she resells them under "unformed", 50 for $3.00 (with $2.50 shipping).
