Post Fuel Pressure Regulation

Has anybody had experience with installing an adjustable fuel pressure regulator setup on a 928? My car has high flow injectors, and runs a straight brain. Bottom line is that is runs very rich, and I would like to turn the pressure down to fine tune the mixture, both on and off of the boost.

John,

Tony V has some good writeups on his site. He drops in here once in awhile - perhaps he'll add a few pointers.

Here's his Tip on installing the interior fuel pressure indicator:

Thanks for the info.......I may try the adjustable regulator, and then measure voltage off the O2 sensor.

I also have the adjutable fuel regulator (currently set for 59 psig - w/no probs). I also have installed the ARM1 in the center console and watch it pretty closely (well, when I'm not watching the road). I can tell by the ARM1 how the Injection System, is performing fairly easily.

I would recommend getting an air-fuel ratio meter and installing it to anyone as it provides a great troubleshooting/monitoring tool. Alsao, install the fuel rail pressure gauge for precise monitoring of the fuel system. There is a nminimum value for proper operation per the Tech Manuals.
