Thanks Bill, that's really good to know. I've been thinking about adding an X once I get the supercharger sorted, but was concerned about being to loud.

My car is an 87 with big resonators stock cats & RMB. I love the sound right now, but wouldn't mind the bump in HP.

Sometimes I swear I'm just following you around copying whatever you do... just a few years later (hope you don’t mind).

Try adding one of these with your x-pipe, instead of an RMB, and instead of your stock muffler...

I like "Hooker"(s) better ;-)

Seriously though, would you know how these compare to Hooker's tips ? They look very much the same, a bit less expensive. I was getting ready to order the Hooker version for my '79 OB. Now I have a new decision to make, sh...t !!!

OK folks, I took my David Lomas (Motorsport) X Crossover Pipe off a year or two ago. Not only am I too busy to put it back on, but currently I am only really doing street driving and I prefer the RMB sound with regular cats in and without the X. Nice sound.

My X is still sitting in my garage overhead and not currently getting any use. I hope to install it again someday with a proper muffler and a proper high flow catalytic converter. Just not anytime soon.

Anyone within the 928 community in the Charlotte area that is interested in testing out the benefits (FUN) of an X should contact me. I may be willing to put it out on loan.
