Default I need to be grounded!

Taking off on the current thread about battery disconnects, but not wanting to either hijack that thread or get my post lost, I want to go in this direction: I don't need a ground disconnect, what I want is a good, positive non-corroding, easy-off if necessary, ground connect (main, plus all those maddening little ground points throughout the car).

Don't you already have the wing bolt for the battery strap GP?

if not get one of the Green ones and use that as your "wing bolt" (discard the rest). Clean the GP's & ring terminals that attach to them - reassemble & spray with terminal protectant to stop further oxidation.

For the other GP's you really don't want any kind of quick release - you want it bolted down tight! if you clean them all well and protect them well you won't need to touch them for years.

I know WallyP suggests cleaning grounds annually - I sort of diasagree - inspect annually and fix any issues but if you get them squeeky clean and well protected they should last many years (absent water, loseness or possibly dissimilar metals from aftermarket terminals...).

But if in doubt clean and protect them again.
