Default Upper A Arm bushes

I'm in the middle (literally) of replacing the front upper a arm bushes with Polyurethane ones.

I presume that the steel outer sleeve that was originally part of the stock rubber bush has to come out .

Can anyone confirm ?

When you're in your garage by yourself at least no one knows you are talking to yourself if you do it via Rennlist LOL.

Steel sleeves are out (The usual bugger of a job - carefully sawing then cold chisel) I'll let you know shortly if I am wrong - small children cover your ears!

Phew, think I am correct - no way the new bushes would have gone in with the old sleeves there.
