So now I own a second dented 928... At least this one runs. I'm figuring between the two, and the spare front end I bought, I can piece together a good car and part the rest. It will be nice to finally drive one of these things.

I'm amazed at how little damage a 40mph collision produced.

I think, or hope, the 40 mph estimation was a bit off. It didn't knock off the front plate or break any of the marker lights. This car will be destined for track days.

I was thinking the same thing... Maybe he was doing 40mph before he hit the brakes, and the other car was doing 35 in the same direction. If this was more than a 15mph impact I'd be very, very surprised.
