Default Grapevine Texas

Does anyone live near Grapevine Texas? I may be heading down early next week on business.

Grapevine is 928 central. You will find a bunch of goobers that live within 15 minutes of there. Let us know what your plans are.

Come on down and we can show you some Texas hospitality.

The ******* is just a few blocks from the Italian car fest, not to mention that the ******* is a really fun place to just hang out. I plan on attending (could pick you up) if I can get the wifes car back together by then.

You mean ...

???

I've been following this thread with envy, not that we don't have a good 928 community here in Austin. I built the house at 2116 Sandell Drive; some later owner added a garage for a semi-truck! Three minutes from the lake. Wish I still owned it.

I might be taking my Lambo or Ferrari to the car fest, but this year it's $10 admission charge for visitors. Not sure if I'll go or not yet. I could pick you up also, but it's about a 10 minute walk to the fest. Also having a wine tasting that weekend same place.

Baltimore is in town that weekend against the Rangers, I can get some discount tix I think? Fireworks Sat night game.

Check ESPN. Grapevine's next door neighbor, Southlake High School is playing Miami Northwestern on national TV this weekend. Do we watch foolball in the state - sheesh.

Things have gone a bit upmarket in that area I know. I miss the hot summer days drinking cold beer with my friend, wrenching on his '57 Chevy and me on my '69 Camaro.

Oh, and Hook 'em Horns!

Football and baseball Sunday night! Yanks vs the Sox and Pats vs Chargers. See we have football up here too but most of it is on tape!

I checked my flight and I get in around 3:00. I have to set up my booth at ******* but once that is all set I should be ready to go.
