Getting Married
Well, I finally did it (gave her the ring that is)! We are getting married in about 1 year or so. Here is a recent picture of us...

I'd prefer to use
"just because you're chained to the fence, doesn't mean you can't bark at the cars driving by."
Gives her a laugh and doesn't get an evil stare.
