Better yet call the guy and have him drive it by the Dyno day on the 15th. Having 10 or so shark addicts converge on it would be the best PPI ever. Then again as picky as this board can be...he might be sent home crying..

Euro, interesting rear deck, seats, looks like a decent job, but one has to look at it closely. I asked for interior shots too. He said WP an TB have recently been replaced.

That interior looks like someone spray painted the red. Similar to the interior shots we saw coming out of CeeDees workshop. I still haven't heard from the seller. If Keith or someone else will send me his contact info I will go and look at it in person.

The car is a 1980 model. It is a Euro but at that time that didn't mean a whole lot as far as the engine goes. Its a 3 speed auto. The guy selling it is the same guy who originaly built the car. He said that he used a 550 Mercedes SL roof and had the rear deck made of fiberglass. The rear deck opens from the front. He said that the transmission leaks a little but not bad enough that he ever felt the need to fix it. He has to add fluid every 8 months to a year depending on how much he drives it.

@ $5K I'd be interested, but would never be caught in it with that fugly top up. New rims and a black paintjob and it might look alot better. Still neat. Is it a Euro S? or plain jane Euro?

I think this car needs modern wheels, an S-4 rear spoiler, and maybe a widebody kit. The suspension needs to come down as well. That thing is sitting way too high.
Terra, if you are really interested, call me and I will give you the guys contact info. You are already going to be in Tampa. Why not buy a 928 while your here.

300hp Euro S was available in 1980, along with the standard, low hp Euro.
And AFAIK, the term "OB" or "Old Bugger" refers to 78-79 US cars, and some even go so far as to include the CIS Euro S cars up to 83. Coined many years ago to seperate the old body style CIS cars from the old body style L-jet and LH cars.

I do have a tow hitch on the minivan... It would take more than a weekend of convincing the finance minister on that one, plus I have my heart set on a wide body kit for my current shark.
Just turned onto 275, in Tampa now.

I fired my finance minister 20 years ago and never looked back. I may have to jump off a cliff when it comes time to retire, but in the meantime I drive whatever the hell I want.
