That would be fine, but I'm afraid that I'll be the one receiving the horn blasts!

Chuck,

You have a full cage; did you remove the door intrusion beams? They are quite heavy steel pipe. (78-80, they were extruded aluminum.)

You have to take out the window slide rod, coupla' bolts, and then the beam unbolts.

Yes I did, that was done just before the cage installation. I have the Nascar bars on the drivers side so that was easy. Passenger side - I even cleaned the sound deading material out..

It should be interesting to see the weight - probably comparable with the Dean Krenz blue car which weighed in at around 2600lbs...

E-brake system: handle, cable, shoes = 10lbs?

BTW: what kind of exhaust do you have? Which X? I'm redoing my '81 exhaust.

You can be a rock star too "IF" you use Bowflex"

You can be a Gladiator only "IF" you are MK.

MSDS headers - custom built exhaust by a local race shop with a Flow Master Muffler. It runs at about 102db with the Flowmaster and has a movable tip so I can try and avoid the sound guns.

Noise is one of the biggest challenges. 103db is typically the limit - but is track dependant.
