Shaky Mirrors

I have a 79 auto with 53K. Both side view mirrors shake slightly when underway. Is there a way to tighten the mirrors?

With the 'flag' style, rotate slightly around a vertical axis, and you will see a cap screw head (allen key hex). Tighten it to tighten base to door. Mirror to base?? Eludes me just now??

Ok, how about a shaky rear view mirror on a 88 S4?
