Here is what mine sounds like.

89 S4 with modified cats, stock res's and RMB in the garage about three feet from tips.

I was inspired by this thread and went and swapped out the 40 with a 50 series, which made a definite improvement.

New setup:
Factory manifolds -&gt; Delta Flow 50 series -&gt; 3" -&gt; 12" resonator -&gt; 3" -&gt; 12" resonator -&gt; 3" -&gt; Monza twin tip resonator.

I'm not sure what is on the Bastard, but it is two 2.25" pipes, through a single stainless steel (small) muffler.

Full throttle is 93 dBA, about 80 at idle.

It sounds a bit like a tug boat at idle, uhh or is that a U-Boat?
