HCRPCA: Hill Country Region (Austin mainly) but we'll try to be nice to the teasips anyway.
Rough headcount: 13 cars, 6 SOs, 3 kiddies
Only one from other-list D-FW (Sterling), one from the non-Rennlist Houston list (Steve C.). I will announce it on the PCA lists tomorrow I think.
Anyone who hasn't responded on this list, please do so, plans are proceeding apace.
Max, any word on a "corporate" sponsor as last year?

Afraid I'm no help with the transmission, as I've never messed with an auto. Steve C.'s suggestion of pump-pressure check sounds like a good start though.

We need to make a post on the "other" RennList, the mail list or whatever it's called. I'm thinking there are probably some Texans on that list that don't read this list (Jim Statler from Austin maybe?). I'll post a message, and ask for replies to be posted to this thread.

Donald, with the larger amount of cars showing up for this years gathering you may need to come up with a creative way to distribute door prizes should we get someone to sponsor this years event. Do you remember who received what last year.
For those who did not make it last year, DEVEK co-sponsored the event and provided lots of real nice stuff to be given away.
P.S. You may want to post a link to this thread on the other water-cooled Rennlist forum so our 924/944/951/968 brethren have a heads up.

Were you and your better half driving up for the day (9/28) or will you be coming up Friday night (9/26)?

You're right, I can't even remember how we did it last year! In fact, I just had confirmation of the "Porsche" cap arriving not too long ago- Jim w/ the 924S, if I remember correctly. And I wanted to keep that cap!
Don C. got a pair of hatch gas struts, I think, and I have Jeff's "Smokey Y." book as hostage still.
Maybe the first dozen people to buy a round?
