The quick check for an over-zealous buffer is whether the 'fuzzy' weatherstripping around the sunroof has lost it's fuzz and is smooth at the high parts.

Bob:
I have a friend in PCA who drives his black 912 to and from the Parades no matter how far, including once Mt. Tremblant, Canada. After he arrives, he takes out his bottle of black lacquer and a fine model paintbrush and spends maybe an evening touching up the paint chips. The next day he fine sands the touch up spots and then gets to work polishing them out. Once he won Judge's Choice and the car was signed by Peter Porsche as his choice. Unbelieveable how many miles that car has on it and it looks new when he's finished and enters the concours. He finally retired that car and now drives a cherry 911SC that appears to be new. But it is red so not so easy, unless it too is single stage paint. Some reds are single stage I'm told.

My sunroof seal is smooth as can be, and it also has started to leak on my head when it rains. I guess that cinches it.

Check the drains, they are probalby clogged.

I've looked at the other post and although all the aplications look great, I couldn't tell the difference between the products. It's problaby the pictures.

Also if you would left an area (maybe a rectangle) in the middle untouched by any of the waxes, you could do a side by side comparrison to each product.
