Default next issue: engine stops on hard right turn

once in a while when I make a hard right turn the engine quits. after a few seconds, I can start it right up again.

it's not battery related since I don't lose electricity. in fact when the engine shuts off, all the warning lights go on, a/c and radio continue uninterrupted.

could it be low rpm or fuel starvation?

I've tried a couple hard turns tonight but in a lower gear and keeping the rpm's up. The problem is so intermittant that I can't say that keeping the rpm's up or lower gear is doing anything. It's maybe happened four times in the 8 months and 1800 miles I put on the care.

I've seen a thread about this, but it didn't seem that there was any definitive conclusion. (what fuse or rely should I swap; see my previous post)

any easily performed diagnostic test I can perform?

possibly related: after leaving it at the airport for 6 days. I tried to start, got electricity but it wouldn't turn over. like the starter wouldn't engage.

I waited a couple minutes and it started right up.

That can be a tough one to track down.. Had a friend with an old Volvo, when she turned on the left indicator the engine stalled. They never did figure it out.

At least she didn't drive for NASCAR

My car had an odd cut out problem over rough bumps....it wouldn't stall, it would just loose power briefly then return to normal......turned out to be a dying fuel pump! Its easy to check....pull the cover plate and check the resistance of the pump.....a good pump should be around 2 ohms or less.....mine would spike to 13-15 ohms and not run.....
