David Lloyd is no longer racing but his car is! I understand David sold his racer to another enthusiast who is on his way to racing it, but I don't know his name off hand.

I think one of the problems trying to find all who are competing is that not all of them belong to this Forum. We can't forget the European racers/DE people, there seems to be a fair share of them too.

I also seem to remember a drifter who chose to run a 928 in competition. It seemed pretty well set up and pictures were posted to this forum.

John Kelly - ORR are very much considered full blown racers in my mind - when you look at the safety requirements, car setups, skills required, etc.

DE's are a little different since you remove the stress factor. I didn't realize how different they were until I started racing. On the other hand, there are some drivers in DE that are much better drivers than me - Kieth Martin, Adam Birmbaugh... but chances are I'd still beat them in a race... at least the first few...

Ok.. now to start composing my list.. will be interesting to see the variety of cars, setups, who runs in what race organization, etc.

Very true. I'm on a European race list that has a few.
928 racers are a rare breed. Fingers an toes would be enough to count them

Currently - with NASA - I run HPDE4 (same as Rich)
with ASA/Pro Auto Sports - I run Green Group (again same as Rich) - Same difference as HPDE4

Anyone who runs these sessions - knows it might as well be a timed/race event. A lot of "wanna be's" working their way up - Next season - Hopefully - I will actually be in a race class - Maybe NASA and ASA/Pro Auto Sports Both.

That's too much to do - I'll start with the racers then work my way up... Guess I should include the Hill Climbs too - since I've seen several of those that the 928's hold the record on.

Ok Big 928 - Give me all the details - names, cars. Is there a website for more info? Would be interested in learning more about the races too - are they sprint races (20-30min) similar to the US? What about licenses in Europe, is the FIA the only sanctioning group?

Thanks,

Chuck
