Post Pics of 84-86 Euro resonator

Hi Folks -

As promised, here are a couple pics of the elusive '84-'86 928S factory Euro resonator. Although hard to discern from the photos, it does have dual exits. Caught here in its natural habitat leaning against my garage wall, it seems to exhibit an almost human response of surprise at being photographed. Although many exhaustologists still deny the existence of the Euro Resonator, these photographs have not been disproven as hoaxes. The study of cryptoexhaustology is still not taken seriously by most credible scientists. Perhaps sometime in the future a Euro Resonator will actually get installed in a 928 and provide the scientific community with the evidence it needs to validate its existence.

Bryan,
That's about what my front box would look like too. 83 Euro S AT - UK spec. There is another small box (2 in, 2 out) neat the gearbox, then the roundy final box behind the axle, 2 in, 2 out.
Sounds Terrific too! Set off alarm on an S600 Merc who parked too close one day, out in the open.

Where I come from we'd call that thing a muffler!

Bela's tagline translates into:

"My Porsche is great/big/tall pain in the donkey."

Nicole,

I used an online translator from English to German, guess some things get lost in the translation.
Actually that sounds funnier than what I intended for it to say.
